Ambrish P Jain comes with over 3 decades of rich work experience across the Automobile & Telecom industry verticals. He completed his B.Tech from IIT Delhi, MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and his AMP from Harvard University, USA.
He retired from Vodafone Idea as COO and was heading all Customer Operations nationally, while being involved in Merger, Integration, Restructuring, Cost Optimization, Transformation, Synergy Realization, Competition Management, Industry Forums. He was also the on the Board of Directors for various Subsidiary Companies of Vodafone Idea Ltd.
Prior to this, he was Deputy Managing Director, Idea Cellular Ltd (Aditya Birla Group) and responsible for heading Operations, Enterprise Business, VAS, All New Businesses including Wallet & Payment Bank, Competition Management.
He was also on Board of Directors for various Subsidiary Companies of Idea Cellular Ltd. and was nominated as Member Business Review Board and Member Talent Council for other businesses of Aditya Birla Group (ABG), while being involved in many forums across businesses and COA.
His last few key assignments include Director Operations, Idea Cellular, COO - ESCOTEL Mobile (Escorts Group JV with First Pacific Hongkong), CMO & COO - Aircel Digilink (Essar Group Company), Business Head - RPG Cellular, Head Strategy Planning – Automobile and Telecom Business, Escorts Group.
He has won the prestigious ABG Group Chairman’s Award (across all businesses & geographies globally) twice as ‘Outstanding Leader Award’ in 2011 & ‘Leader of Leaders’ Award in 2014.
He is currently an Independent Director on Board of Intellect Design Arena Ltd. and actively engaged in Mentoring Start Ups and Young Professionals.
